I am a long-time fangirl of science fiction / fantasy, having cut my teeth on Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, The Six Million Dollar Man, and Wonder Woman. I grew up with my parents telling me the “evils” of Dungeons & Dragons, and played it anyway. I was there when K-mart unpacked an Atari to display for purchase, and the thrill of the original Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, and Centipede.
I have been known to read and write poetry, romance (a.k.a. smut), and gaming modules. I am an avid reader, following many authors (Asimov, Lovecraft, Lackey, Dodd, Shakespeare), across multiple genres (horror, suspense, sci-fi, fantasy, romance, crime drama). When I am not working with students with special needs, I might be found sewing quilts, painting Reaper miniatures, solving puzzles, or baking.
